Ahmed Belal Hashmi: Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan; Was quite a normal kid till 5th grade, and then I developed a passion for reading :D Been writing since then, little poems, silly rhymes, sometimes a serious note or two. Always wanted to write a novel, something that would be special, different, and not just for me. So i try, one paragraph at a time, weeks apart on end, crawling my way towards finishing something that may end up being readable. My passion for arts has always been there, since i learned to draw twisted figures with my immature skill. It always makes me wonder, what am I doing in an engineering university? And then again, that is yet another passion I nurture, and let's just say I'd rather keep art as a hobby and passion than a profession. Anyway, I'd say I'm quite a "normal" person by prevalent standards of the society, though I do deviate in some of my own odd ways from them. Life has finally taught me that romanticizing facts does not change them, what is, just is, and one has to live with it, one way or the other.
